I've
added a review of Escaflowne
the Movie to the movies section. Don't expect it
to be a duplicate of the series - the characters have been
redrawn, and many of their personalities have been altered.
Still, it's a great movie, and possibly even better than the
series.

Now
that I've expanded the manga section to include magazines,
I've written up a review of Animerica
Anime and Manga Monthly,one of the best
and longest running anime and manga magazines in the US.
It has long been the source for the latest anime news.

Look!
I've
made a major update to the site's look to ring in the new
year. Hopefully, the new layout will be less cluttered,
and will display better on smaller screens. Enjoy, and be
on the lookout for new reviews soon!

Manga Magazine
With
the first issue of the North American edition of Shonen
Jump on the shelves, it's suddenly much easier and
more affordable to delve into the world of manga. A brief
review and overview of the January 2003 issue is available
in the Manga section.

Awards 2002
Animerica
Magazine is holding a poll for it's annual Fan
Awards. Vote now on your favorite characters, series,
and more! Nominations are being taken now and voting should
be in a few weeks, with the results should be published
early next year.
Excel
Saga
The
entire series has yet to be released, but thanks to fan
subs, I've posted a review of Excel Saga
in the series section. It's a great comedy series that any
anime fan is sure to love. Just counting all the in jokes
and anime references will keep you entertained for hours.
